SIG! Your music sounds great! BUT...I have a request...how can I get a copy of your children's music on a CD? I'm willing to pay! I sing your songs (like "I Saw Stars when I Fell off the Monkey Bars" and "Life is Like a Sandwich" and even "Hot Cocoa" to my kids. My kids LOVE them. They call you "Zig". They say, "Sing that Zig song!" I've downloaded a few Chapin songs like "Pretty Planet" and "Family Tree" but your songs are just as good, if not better! Hope all is well...looks like it is! :-) I hope to see you in PC sometime?!

Hi Sig- I grew up in Oregon, and I remember that you once came to my elementary school and did a concert of fun children's songs you've written. It was probably about fifteen years ago but I still remember the songs“- my teacher at the time also had a cassette tape of these songs.
I am now a teacher, and really, really would love to be able to share these songs with my students. I don't see any mention of them on your website though. Is there anywhere I could get a cd or tape of these songs? I remember such quality tracks as 'Hot Cocoa', 'I Saw Stars (When I Fell Off the Monkey Bars)' etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sig- It is Donna Owens. Do you remember me? I am so excited that Randy called you. We all (the Owens girls and my mother) tried to find you 3 years ago when Nancy and Randy's daughter got married. It is so much fun to look at your web site. You still look the same after 30 years. I believe the last time I saw you was in 1981 or so when Sandy was moving back to MN and my friend Teresa and I came up to Portland and went out to a bar with you.
It was fun to read your bio. I do remember you being in a band when you lived in WI, but I don't remember the name of the band or why you moved back to Oregon-but that was a smart move.
Anyway-my husband, Bill, and I will be in be in Oregon June 14th-June 22nd. It would be so much fun to see you.
Let me know your email address-i would love to send you pictures of my daughters-Lindsey and Jenna-22 and 21-both attending college at Kansas State University. They are both a lot cuter than I ever was at that age.

Dear Mr. Siggy:
It was really good to see you this week. I just ordered your two CDs. I am not much into goat roping music but am hoping yours as represented is in the Steve Forbert and John Prine venue. Hopefully they will arrive before I head off on my beach vacation so that I can give them a really good lesson.
We are thinking of changing the name of our band already to the Back Porch Boys instead of the Front for originality. We will always consider you an honorary member and save your spirit a chair and a beer.
When you get to be rich and famous I am hoping you will at least consider me for the position of your honarary attorney just as I have saved you a position in our band.
And finally Mr. Siggy my advice is to be yourself, but you already know that; you are a Paulson.

The debut album by 9Lies has been dealt a 'Fine Fine' boost by none less than four Northern Irish radio stations and one International! The title track 'Behind It All' was described locally by Downtown Radio DJ Johnny Hero (apart from the above!) as "9Lies, Sounding absolutely Brilliant!" with International acclaim coming from the U.S. in the form of DJ Khiki Kavanagh on the Indie Limelight show, with listeners in excess of 5 million, who has now "found a new favourite band in 9Lies", Following that came Radio Ulsters play of 'Too Late' where music critic Deci, described 9Lies as "a crusade as much as a band" for our standing against POP PAP! Followed again by U105's spin of Track 3 from the album, 'Blind' and last but not least was Sonya Mac's play of 'Slippin Away' on Belfasts 97.4 Cool FM. 9Lies Lead singer, and cousin of Kildare singer/songwriter Damien Rice, Steve Mann announced "We have hit on a few truly amazing sounds on this album which are raw, but yet a lot more melodic than anything else we have ever done in the past. The album is a mix of studio songs and live musical dreams, which is being made all the more exciting with the media seemingly loving the songs as much as we do!" Click for an Exclusive Download of 5 songs from 9Lies, including the radio plays, with introductions of 'Behind It All', 'Slippin Away', 'Blind' and 'Too Late' from the new album. The release date will be announced later this year. Its all there on your www.9Lies.Net

This album is a snap shot of what I was doing at that given moment. Even after it's wrapped up I keep, searching with my fingers for the sounds in my head and when I find more, I tend to want to erase everything I've done up to that moment but I can't and such is the pain of the musician.
